A Large Experience With Room to Breathe

The primary format begins Friday evening, continues through a full Saturday, leaves Sunday morning open for regular church worship, and closes Sunday afternoon after the final commissioning. The schedule includes worship, substantial teaching, private reflection, conversation, shared meals, breaks, a clear gospel invitation, and a final commissioning. Hosts may adapt the times to their setting while protecting the breaks, private response, and unhurried final invitation.

Six Commitments That Hold the Weekend Together

1. Christ remains the center. The retreat does not turn legacy into self preservation or personal importance.

2. Every person has a place. Marriage and biological parenthood are honored without being treated as the only way faithfulness travels.

3. Truth and compassion remain together. Participants can name harmful patterns without being led into blame.

4. Disclosure remains voluntary. No exercise requires someone to tell a painful story publicly.

5. The gospel is clear and unpressured. Leaders explain what is being received and allow an honest response.

6. The weekend ends with action. Each person identifies one faithful next step and one relationship that can support it.

Optional Eight Week Format

The same material can be used as eight weekly gatherings of exactly sixty minutes. A sample time is 6:30 to 7:30 PM. Doors may open at 6:15 PM for optional refreshments, but the guided meeting begins and ends within the promised hour. Choose a night that supports the church’s regular ministry schedule rather than competing with it.
