DAY 59: WEDNESDAY

You Do Not Have to Fill Every Quiet Moment

“Surely I have behaved and quieted myself,”
Psalm 131:2 (KJV)

DEVOTIONAL

Sometimes peace feels like you should be doing something. You reach for your phone, start an argument, look for a problem, or keep talking because quiet feels uncomfortable.

But quiet can be a place where you hear yourself think and remember God is near.

You do not need constant entertainment or constant conflict.

Learn to sit in peace without needing to disturb it.

TAKE A MOMENT

What do you reach for when quiet feels uncomfortable?

BUILD IT THIS WEEK

Spend five quiet minutes with God today. No phone. No music. Just pray and listen.

PRAYER

Dear Heavenly Father,

thank You for teaching me how to build my life on Jesus.

Help me grow in quiet.

Show me what belongs to me, help me tell the truth, and teach me to respond with wisdom instead of reacting from fear or anger.

Help me notice the growth happening in my family without trying to control it.

Make me someone who brings truth, courage, responsibility, kindness, and peace into the places You have put me.

In Jesus' name,

Amen.
