DAY 27: SATURDAY BONUS
Let God Finish What You Cannot
“The LORD will perfect that which concerneth
me:”
Psalm 138:8 (KJV)
DEVOTIONAL
Some things are not yours to finish.
Maybe a friend is upset. Maybe your parents are working through something. Maybe you apologized and the other person still needs time. Maybe you tried your best and the outcome is not what you wanted.
Faithfulness means doing your part and then letting God handle what belongs to Him.
Chasing people for reassurance, repeating your explanation ten times, or trying to force everyone to feel better can actually create more pressure.
TAKE A MOMENT
What are you trying to finish that may need time?
BUILD IT THIS WEEK
Ask: What is my part? Do that.
Then pray: God, I give You the part I cannot control.
PRAYER
Dear Heavenly Father,
thank You for teaching me how to build my life on Jesus.
Help me grow in unfinished things.
Show me what belongs to me, help me tell the truth, and teach me to respond with wisdom instead of reacting from fear or anger.
Help me notice the growth happening in my family without trying to control it.
Make me someone who brings truth, courage, responsibility, kindness, and peace into the places You have put me.
In Jesus' name,
Amen.
