Lift Up Your Eyes

“My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth.”Psalm 121:2 (KJV)

Peter stepped onto the water because Jesus said, ‘Come.’ Then his attention moved from Christ to the wind. Jesus had not changed, but fear grew where Peter’s attention stayed. When Peter cried, ‘Lord, save me,’ Jesus immediately reached for him.

Faith does not deny the storm. It refuses to let the storm become greater in our sight than the God who is with us. Abiding is remaining with Christ while the wind blows.
