Walking with God · Part 2 of 19

Created in His Image

“So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.”Genesis 1:27 (KJV)

Before careers, relationships, accomplishments, failures, or wounds could tell us who we are, God established our identity. The first thing Scripture says about humanity is not what we would do, but whose image we bear.

Our worth is not determined by productivity, performance, another person’s opinion, or our past. Sin distorted God’s image in humanity, but it did not erase human dignity. As we walk with God, He changes both the way we see ourselves and the way we see others.
