Walking with God · Part 1 of 19

Before There Was Purpose, There Was Presence

“And they heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day...”Genesis 3:8 (KJV)

From Genesis to Revelation, Scripture tells one story: a holy God who desires to dwell with His people. When God formed Adam, He did not begin with a mission. Before a garden to tend, there was a Creator to know. Before purpose, there was presence.

God’s first invitation has never been merely, ‘Work for Me.’ It has always been, ‘Walk with Me.’ Purpose matters, but it was meant to flow from relationship. We often ask for a map; God offers His hand.
