Walking with God · Part 14 of 19

Walking Together

“And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:”Hebrews 10:24 (KJV)

Our relationship with God is personal, but it was never meant to remain private. Relationships reveal fruit and places still needing pruning. Walking together requires humility, truth, grace, discernment, boundaries, encouragement, and a willingness to let God examine us.

Discipleship is walking beside someone as they learn to walk with Jesus. We cannot become their source or have their relationship with God for them. We can pray, share what grace has taught us, and continually point them toward Christ.

Reflection

Who is walking beside me, and whom might God be asking me to encourage? Am I pointing people toward Christ?
