Walking with God · Part 13 of 19

Reflecting the Son

“They took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus.”Acts 4:13 (KJV)

Moses did not try to make his face shine. He had been in God’s presence, and it showed. Peter and John were ordinary men whose courage revealed that they had been with Jesus.

A reflection does not create its own image; it reveals what it is facing. We are not the Light; we reflect the Light. The goal is not to become someone everyone notices, but someone through whom Jesus can be seen, even in an honest apology.

Reflection

What are the people closest to me learning about Jesus through my reactions? Can they tell I have been with Him?
