A flexible one-hour discipleship group
A church or small group may use the same five movements as five weekly gatherings. Choose an evening and start time that supports the church's regular ministry rather than competing with Sunday or Wednesday services. The sample guided gathering is 6:30–7:30 PM. Doors may open at 6:15 PM, while optional refreshments or conversation after 7:30 remain separate.
| Week | Movement | Primary focus |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Christ Leads the Walk | Unity, identity, relational patterns, and Christ as the Vine |
| 2 | Listen Before You Answer | Curiosity, intent and impact, old wounds, no, and correction |
| 3 | Conflict, Trust, and Repair | Conflict, apology, forgiveness, trust, access, and wise protection |
| 4 | Carry With Compassion and Boundaries | Burden bearing, responsibility, limits, and wider support |
| 5 | Become Safe and Help One Another Grow | Safety, encouragement, faithful love, the gospel, and one next step |
A repeatable 60-minute rhythm
| Time | Gathering | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| 6:30–6:38 | Welcome, Scripture, prayer, and opening question | 8 min |
| 6:38–6:58 | Focused teaching | 20 min |
| 6:58–7:13 | Private or guided response | 15 min |
| 7:13–7:25 | Focused conversation and prayer | 12 min |
| 7:25–7:30 | One faithful practice and closing | 5 min |
WEEK FIVE Week five also ends at 7:30 PM. Shorten the review and teaching so the gospel can be presented clearly, a quiet response can be offered, and the gathering can close with prayer within the promised hour. |
