Purpose does not begin with pressure

Many people hear the word purpose and immediately feel pressure to identify one impressive calling, build something visible, or discover a complete plan. Scripture begins somewhere quieter and truer: purpose belongs to God, identity is received before assignment, and faithful living grows from relationship with Christ.

Welcome people who are eager, uncertain, redirected, or unfamiliar with Christian language. Explain that nothing is assumed about their background. They may listen, ask questions, and consider what they hear. The gospel will be explained clearly near the end, with unhurried time for a voluntary response.

Opening prayer

Lord, quiet the pressure to perform or prove ourselves. Help us listen honestly, receive what is true, and keep our hands open to Your correction and direction. Lead us toward the next faithful step. Amen.
