WEEK 2

DAY 8: MONDAY

Trust God When You Cannot See the Plan

“Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.”
Proverbs 3:5 (KJV)

DEVOTIONAL

You will not always understand what God is doing. Adults do not either.

Sometimes your family will be waiting on an answer, walking through change, or learning a new way of doing things.

Trust does not mean pretending questions do not exist. It means refusing to make fear your leader.

Ask questions respectfully. Pray. Watch what God does. Do the next right thing you already know to do.

Your parents may not have every answer while they grow.

You can encourage them by noticing effort, accepting honest apologies, and remembering that God is forming the whole family, not just one person.

TAKE A MOMENT

What do you wish you could know right now? What part of today is actually yours to handle?

BUILD IT THIS WEEK

Write one question you cannot answer. Under it write: God knows. Then name one faithful thing you can do today.

PRAYER

Dear Heavenly Father,

thank You for teaching me how to build my life on Jesus.

Help me grow in trust.

Show me what belongs to me, help me tell the truth, and teach me to respond with wisdom instead of reacting from fear or anger.

Help me notice the growth happening in my family without trying to control it.

Make me someone who brings truth, courage, responsibility, kindness, and peace into the places You have put me.

In Jesus' name,

Amen.
