Let Go Without Giving Up

“Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.”

DEVOTIONAL

Letting go does not mean you stop caring. It means you stop trying to control what belongs to God or another person.

You can care about your family and still let your parents carry adult decisions. You can care about a friend and still let them choose. You can care about your future without trying to plan every detail today.

Surrender creates room for responsibility because your energy is no longer spent trying to control everything.

Open your hands while you pray and name one thing you are giving back to God.

PRAYER

Dear Heavenly Father,

thank You for teaching me how to build my life on Jesus.

Help me grow in letting go.

Show me what belongs to me, help me tell the truth, and teach me to respond with wisdom instead of reacting from fear or anger.

Help me notice the growth happening in my family without trying to control it.

Make me someone who brings truth, courage, responsibility, kindness, and peace into the places You have put me.
