DAY 69: SATURDAY BONUS
Solve What Is Yours, Release What Is Not
“For every man shall bear his own burden.”
Galatians 6:5 (KJV)
DEVOTIONAL
Families work best when everyone carries an appropriate part.
Parents carry adult responsibilities.
Kids carry age appropriate responsibilities.
Siblings can help each other, but one child should not have to become the parent.
You can contribute to a safe home by doing your chores, caring for your belongings, speaking respectfully, helping when asked, and noticing when someone could use kindness.
Contribution is different from carrying the whole house.
TAKE A MOMENT
What responsibilities truly belong to you right now?
BUILD IT THIS WEEK
Do one responsibility before being reminded. Let it be an act of service to your family.
PRAYER
Dear Heavenly Father,
thank You for teaching me how to build my life on Jesus.
Help me grow in responsibility.
Show me what belongs to me, help me tell the truth, and teach me to respond with wisdom instead of reacting from fear or anger.
Help me notice the growth happening in my family without trying to control it.
Make me someone who brings truth, courage, responsibility, kindness, and peace into the places You have put me.
In Jesus' name,
Amen.
