DAY 45: WEDNESDAY
You Are Allowed to Need Help
“For if they fall, the one will lift up his
fellow:”
Ecclesiastes 4:10 (KJV)
DEVOTIONAL
Being strong does not mean never needing anyone.
Boys can receive the message that asking for help is weak.
Girls can receive the message that they should quietly manage everything.
Neither is healthy. God made us for relationship.
Safe people can say, I do not know. I need help. I am overwhelmed. Can you listen?
Learning to ask for help before you explode, shut down, lie, or give up is maturity.
TAKE A MOMENT
What is hard for you to ask for help with?
BUILD IT THIS WEEK
Ask a safe adult for help with one real thing this week.
PRAYER
Dear Heavenly Father,
thank You for teaching me how to build my life on Jesus.
Help me grow in help.
Show me what belongs to me, help me tell the truth, and teach me to respond with wisdom instead of reacting from fear or anger.
Help me notice the growth happening in my family without trying to control it.
Make me someone who brings truth, courage, responsibility, kindness, and peace into the places You have put me.
In Jesus' name,
Amen.
