Walking with God · Part 19 of 19 · Conclusion

The Ordinary Walk

“As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him:”Colossians 2:6 (KJV)

Most of life is ordinary: meals, work, children, messages, dishes, bills, errands, and small decisions. Yet Jesus lived roughly thirty quiet years before His public ministry. Those years were not wasted, and neither are ours.

David learned leadership among sheep. Naaman nearly rejected simple obedience because he expected something dramatic. One prayer, patient response, act of integrity, or small obedience may seem insignificant, but repeated across years they shape a life.

This series ends, but the walk does not. When you stumble, return. When He says wait, wait with Him. When He says move, follow. When nothing extraordinary happens, walk with Him there too. Stay close to the Vine, keep your eyes on Jesus, and wherever He leads next, walk with Him.

Reflection

If most of my life is made of ordinary moments, am I learning to walk with God there too? What small obedience is before me today?
