Walking with God · Part 18 of 19

When You Cannot See Where God Is Leading

“Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.”Psalm 119:105 (KJV)

A lamp gives enough light for where we stand and the next step. We often ask for step five when God has already made step one clear. Our desire for the whole road may be less about direction and more about control.

The Spirit redirected Paul and his companions more than once before leading them toward Macedonia. Clarity came while they walked. Maturity is not never needing redirection; it is responding more quickly when God redirects us.
